Foreword
I intend to adjust the route of learning. I wrote a blog on the descriptive statistical analysis and modeling data base, but because of my own lack of knowledge for statistics, looking at the book explain in the study often feel confused, as if watching Double Dutch general. So I decided to put the last piece of content on a book - scheduled to run automated scripts completion.
My computer is Windows 10 operating system. I have not used a computer macOS and Unix systems, we do learn only run scripts automatically based on the Windows operating system.
Task Scheduler
On Windows systems and macOS system, there are programs you can run scripts and other executable files on a regular basis. Microsoft said the program is Task Scheduler0 (Task Scheduler); on Unix systems and macOS systems, such programs become corn (cron job).
Before we choose 3parse_text_file.py this chapter wrote the script application as an example. The figure is its storage path.
Next, open the Control Panel , find the System and Security → Administrative Tools , and then double-click Task Scheduler .
In the operating menu, click Create Basic Task and Create Basic Task Wizard, fill in the name and description, then click Next .
Next, enter the task trigger interface. We set a month to run a script, and then click Next .
After that, the task wizard will take you to a monthly tab. We May Set Select all months in the day to set the final , the start time is set to 9:00:00, and check the time synchronization across time zones box. After completing these, click Next .
Turning now to the operation tab. We chose to start the program , and then click Next .
Then we go to the launcher tab. We fill in the file path py program or script column, then add parameters to fill in the path input and output files of the bar. Completed, click Next .
Finally, we come to complete the tab. We need to verify what information is correct, if checked, the click is completed .
We return to the main interface Task Scheduler, click Task Scheduler Library , we can see the task you just created.
