When using elsevier template writing papers, corresponding author would like to add a footnote for identification.
[Problem]
After trying the usual \ thanks {} and \ footnote {} other methods, will be found in the upper right corner of the label, but the bottom of the page does not display footnote.
[Solution]
reference lindexi solutions on the blog, I have listed here only method to solve this problem.
\author[label1]{这里写第一个作者的名字 \corref{cor1}}
\author[label2]{这里写第二个作者的名字}
\address[label1]{地址1}
\address[label2]{地址2}
\cortext[cor1]{Corresponding author}
You can see, the key is to add \ corref {cor1}, the role is to identify the author's name in the upper right corner of an asterisk after the name of the author.
\ cortext [cor1] role is to display content in the braces in the footnotes.
