VIN classification
VIN is divided into two types:
Japanese and non-Japanese local car VIN local car VIN
Japanese local car VIN, of indefinite length.
Non-Japanese cars VIN is composed of 17 letters or numbers.
Usually VIN format
Any two vehicles manufactured 30 years can not have the same VIN.
Manufacturers use all letters and numbers other than the letter I, O and Q.
VIN consists of three parts, i.e. WMI, VDS, VIS.
WMI: World Manufacturer Identifier, country and name of manufacturer
VDS: the Description Vehicle Sign
VIS: Vehicle Sign On Indicator
No. 10: Model Year
