vim can be divided into three modes: command mode, edit mode, line mode

Command Mode

Use vim open a file, the default mode is the command, the keyboard can use the cursor position and to be cut and paste copy

Edit mode

When you are done editing, press ESC to exit edit mode

Line mode (command line mode)
