SPSS-- one-sample t-test

Objectives and role:

Determine whether the sample mean is significantly different from a known or estimated population mean.

The sig value, i.e., the value of p determines whether to reject the null hypothesis;

Effect size:
the above test results can only determine whether the sample mean and the population mean is known whether there are differences, but can not evaluate how much worse, to what extent such a problem, therefore, put forward effect size.
Cohen effect size:

One-sample t-test assumptions:

1. Observations are independent;
2. The dependent variable overall normal distribution;
