Tomcat application server installation configuration
Tomcat server is a free open source Web application server, are lightweight application server, is widely used in small and medium systems and concurrent user access is not a lot of occasions, is the preferred development and debugging JSP, Servlet program.
1, open the browser, enter the address in the address field as follows: https: //tomcat.apache.org/download-70.cgi, click the appropriate zip into the download page shown in Figure 2.1 for download;
2, the download directly extract the zip to c: \, this time to ensure that a Java environment is already configured according to the experiment.
3, using the console, after entering the decompression c: \ apache-tomcat-xxxx ( here is the corresponding version number) \ bin directory, run one of the startup file, as shown in Figure 2.2 Tomcat server start; start after opening a browser enter the following address: http: // localhost: 8080, appears as Figure 2.3 indicates Tomcat installation start properly.
Configuring Tomcat in Eclipse
Select the Eclipse menu enter WindowShow ViewServers Servers view point to take to create a Server, and then select the next screen ApacheTomcat 7.0 Server configuration, configuration parameters to the next point to take the Tomcat, select AddApacheApache Tomcat 7.0Next, and enter the associated path Tomcat click to complete the configuration.
Once configured, can be seen in the Servers view configured Tomcat 7.x, take the right point to start the Tomcat, Tomcat configuration is now complete environment in Eclipse.
