但即便如此,华为云后发已是事实。国内公有云市场已经被阿里、腾讯、百度等瓜分,华为不占优势。

于是这才有了华为“Cloud Only”战略:意在整合华为的资源和组织,从芯片到数据中心、从硬件到软件、从IT基础设施到云服务、从边缘计算到云计算,将资源全部集结。

希望通过压强投入,将华为云打造成业界唯一的拥有全栈能力的云,进而产生竞争力。

对云之迫切,也能从快速调整变革中看出。

近3年来,华为云一次次变阵,地位的一次次提高,能量的一次次加大。

2017年3月,华为副董事长,轮值CEO徐直军宣布成立专门负责公有云的Cloud BU,并宣布增加投入2000人。

同年8月,Cloud BU在华为内部上升为一级组织,与运营商BG、企业BG、消费者BG平级。

2018年底,华为将公有云、私有云、AI、大数据、计算、存储、IoT 等与IT强相关的产业重组,组建了“Cloud & AI产品与服务”。

到现在,Cloud & AI产品与服务升级为华为集团第四大BG。

在2020年新年致辞中,徐直军更是直接提到组织调整目标:支持云与计算产业的商业成功。

不过,雄心之下,不代表这一仗轻而易举。

华为穿越技术周期,先后与外企竞争、国内IT公司竞争,但与互联网巨头正面战场比拼,可能还是首次。

逐鹿中原,智能时代的云业务对垒

根据IDC在2019年11月发布的《中国公有云服务市场(2019上半年)跟踪》报告显示,2019上半年,中国公有云服务整体市场规模已达到54.2亿美元。

而且增速极为可观,其中IaaS市场增速达到72.2%,PaaS市场增速就算有所回落,也达到了92.6%。

而且,加上5G和AI技术近年来的逐步成熟,云计算的应用场景进一步扩大,也平添诸多变数。

如此前景在前,不算虎视眈眈的国外云计算巨头,国内的阿里、腾讯和百度,也都想占据高地,近年来也在面向智能时代积极变阵。

阿里云国内起步最早,率先抢占了不少市场份额,并且AI趋势明显后,也做出了“云+AI”的调整,并于2018年将阿里云升级为阿里云智能事业群,从业务、技术和功能上都进行迭代,还借助平头哥半导体,进一步向芯片等底层硬件延伸,手中砝码,并不比华为有明显劣势。

腾讯则明确通过CSIG架构调整给出“回应”。创办20周年之际,面向产业互联网,成立云与智慧产业事业群(CSIG),集合云、AI之力,要做数字化转型的“工具箱”,也加入底座之争。而且一年成果来看,CSIG交出了年营收100亿元的先期成绩单,势头也凶猛。

百度智能云也在最近进一步完成调整,将将AI技术平台体系、基础技术体、百度智能云事业群组整体整合为“百度人工智能体系”(AIG),云+AI战略进一步明确。

而更早之前,百度云是国内最早明确“云+AI”趋势的厂商,2016年张亚勤治下时,就已明确“ABC”思路,并且依靠技术积累和AI优势,狂飙突进,成为国内进击最迅猛的云业务玩家。

对于BAT来说,云+AI的重视不言自明,而且地位来说,也都成为公司决胜智能时代的一级业务。

所以加上华为调整,头部四霸,均已吹响逐鹿中原号角。

而且更有意思的是,中国云战争霸,四家公司挂帅者,也都来者不善,每一位都在所在企业供职超过10年,都历任集团多个业务线高管。

除了侯金龙,我们也简单盘点下BAT“云”帅。

阿里张建锋

张建锋,1974年生,花名行颠,加入阿里已经16年,也是从各个业务线中成长出来的高管,

2004年毕业于浙江大学计算机专业。之后就加入了阿里巴巴,从淘宝的技术部架构师开始干起。2011年,调任去负责B2B业务——1688,然后到聚划算。

2014年初重新回到淘宝,入职近10年,已然是总裁身。2015年初,兼任天猫总裁,对垒快速崛起的京东。

2015年12月,阿里成立中台事业群,张建锋担任总裁。2016年4月,出任阿里巴巴集团CTO。

2017年,张建锋开始逐步接管阿里云,先是兼任CTO。2018年阿里架构调整后,兼任阿里云智能事业群总裁,他也是阿里达摩院院长,阿里巴巴集团合伙人之一。

百度王海峰

王海峰,1971年生,于2010年1月加入百度,至今也已经有10年。

他在1999年3月从哈尔滨工业大学毕业后,先是加入微软亚洲研究院,进行自然语言处理方向的研究。

2010年1月加入百度,先后为百度创建了自然语言处理部、互联网数据研发部、推荐引擎和个性化部、图片搜索部、语音技术部等研究部门。

2013年协助创建了百度深度学习研究院(IDL),2014年,转岗搜索业务群组,担任副总经理,负责百度搜索、手百、百度信息流等百度的核心业务。

2017年3月晋升百度e-staff负责组建AIG,2018年5月成为百度高级副总裁。

2018年底,王海峰统领TG和AIG,总体负责百度人工智能技术和算法、算力、数据、安全等基础技术的研发。

2019年5月,被任命为CTO——此前该职位已空缺10年,也是AI技术平台体系(AIG)和基础技术体系(TG)负责人。

2020年1月,百度架构调整后,统领百度云+AI。

腾讯汤道生

汤道生,1973年生,2005年加入腾讯,至今15年。

他出生于中国香港,1991年赴美留学,获得密歇根大学和斯坦福大学的硕士学位。毕业之后,曾在Oracle负责数据库研发和测试工作。在2005年加入腾讯之后,担任ISD研发管理部经理及QQ秀的产品中心经理。

并于2012年5月,腾讯进行架构调整,汤道生担任社交网络事业群总裁(SNG),全面接管QQ通信及社交网络平台、增值服务以及开放平台,向COO任宇昕汇报。

在这期间,除了带领QQ变得更加年轻之外,相继孵化出了广点通和腾讯云业务,也被称为是“腾讯云之父”,推动腾讯云不断发展。

2018年9月30日,腾讯新成立开拓产业互联网领域的云与智慧产业事业群(CSIG),集合了属于SNG的腾讯云业务,各类开放平台业务,原属MIG的“互联网+”业务(互联网+医疗、互联网+政务),腾讯地图(无人车)等,汤道生掌舵,进一步拥抱产业互联网。

所以纵横并列来看,几乎都是各家最技术、最具战斗力的高管挂帅,重要性不言而喻。

只是最后一个问题,为啥是云?为啥是此时?又会带来怎样的影响?

一场输不起的“云战争”

云是什么?一个广受认可的定义是:

是一种基于互联网的计算方式,通过这种方式,共享的软硬件资源和信息可以按需求提供给计算机各种终端和其他设备,使用服务商提供的电脑基建作计算和资源。

但新技术加持、数字化转型升级大趋势之下,云计算早已不仅仅只是计算方式,而是承载AI、5G等各类新技术的直接载体,云服务是技术输出的最直接手段。

而且触达的也不再是互联网公司科技公司,还是更广大的产业,是产业智能化升级的核心方式,利润前景非常可观。

值得注意的是,云+AI带来的利润和前景,现在已在大洋彼岸得到验证。微软和亚马逊财报中,云业务带来的增长日新月异,也是微软和亚马逊“万亿美元市值”的关键所系。

而在云计算方面“后发”的谷歌,甚至最近还被与Salesforce收购联系在一起,称以2500亿美元——1.8万亿元人民币之巨,能扭转云战格局,找回痛失的几年。

中国市场和格局也差不多,巨头逐鹿,群雄争霸,黑云压城城欲摧。

只是谁能赢得时代之战?阿里、腾讯、百度,还是华为?
