CKEditor 5 v16.0.0 have been released , this version adds two major and loud cries of function. First, to support the block inserts editor, second is to increase the restricted editing (Restricted editing) function. Users can create a template through the restricted editing functions, and only to limit the scope of editing in the selected area.
New features rich text editor
Code blocks (Code blocks)
Developers can paste the snippet to the IDE block editor, you can write code directly in the block editor. Further, the function block support Tab key indent ( configurable ), and held retracted automatically when we press Enter.
Limited editing capabilities (Restricted editing)
Limited editing features include two editing modes:
- Standard edit mode - the user can freely edit the content and the restriction mode is set in the editable area.
- Limited editing mode - only the region of the user edits in standard mode is set.
The functional significance of what? Imagine such a process might work: a team responsible for creating the document templates, while another group of users has limited editing rights can only fill in the blanks (for example, fill in missing data like name, date and product name, etc.).
