EXSI6.5 reset the root password
When EXSI log in again, and found a forgotten root password
1, first CentOS6 burn a bootable CD-ROM or U disk, startup items and server modifications to CD
2, save reboot BIOS, select rescue installed system
3, after the installation into the interface as follows
4, this time has been entered into the CentOS rescue mode, VMware esxi will begin to recover the password, please follow the following command

cd /tmp
tar xf state.tgz (this step is to unzip the file, it will generate a file of local.tgz)
tar xf local.tgz (after the end of this step, there will be a next tmp directory etc)
6, vi etc / shadow (remember, only use vi in rescue mode, and do not press a or i to enter edit mode, the direct use of the word x delete)
7, then follows
8, restart, boot back to the boot sequence BOIS, start EXSI press F2, when prompted to directly enter a password, then reset the password, but pay attention to meet the password complexity requirements.
