What is Digital Image Processing
An image may be defined as a two-dimensional function f (x, y), where x, y space (plane) coordinates, and any pair of spatial coordinates (x, y) is referred to the amplitude at f in the image or gray scale intensity at the point. When x, y and f are limited gradation value when the discrete values, we call the image into a digital image. The digital image is composed of a limited number of elements, each element has a specific position and amplitude of these elements called pixels.
