MKVToolNix 39.0.0 released. MKVToolNix is a powerful mkv (Matroska) format production and processing tools, supports a variety of video, audio, subtitles and other formats into mkv package format.
New features and enhancements in this release include:
- mkvmerge: Blu-ray: MPLS reading the play list, mkvmerge will find and use the chapter name (if present) Blu-ray "track / chapter name" metadata.
- mkvmerge: MP4 reader: if present, the cover image (meta.udta.ilist.covratom) are converted to attachments.
- MKVToolNix GUI: multiplexer: When you add a playlist from a Blu-ray disc, CD library will parse the metadata, and the maximum thumbnail (if present) will be added as a new attachment name is cover.jpg
- MKVToolNix GUI: multiplexer: When you add a playlist from Blu-ray Disc, if the disc library metadata includes a title is not set up, then the disc library metadata title to the new file header.
- MKVToolNix GUI: multiplexer: If the destination file name, the target file name automatically generated based on the file name.
- MKVToolNix GUI: chapter editor: When reading the chapter, GUI looks from MPLS playlists and use the chapter name (if present) Blu-ray "track / chapter name" metadata.
- MKVToolNix GUI: Windows: Adding a dark mode is enabled when Windows dark pattern 10 open.
- translations: Added Bulgarian translation program and manual pages
