Linux platform MySQL database installation configuration

Linux System Version: CentOS7.4
MySQL Version: 5.7.28
have RPM package in Linux platform, binary packages, source packages 3 installation, file this one mainly RPM package as an example to introduce how MySQL on Linux platform installation.

Linux platform MySQL database installation configuration

An RPM of the specific steps are as follows:
(1) First unload mariadb, otherwise the bank conflict and later will be required to install mysql:

[root@localhost ~]# rpm -qa | grep mariadb
mariadb-libs-5.5.56-2.el7.x86_64
[root@localhost ~]# rpm -e --nodeps mariadb-libs-5.5.56-2.el7.x86_64

(2) switch to the root (only root may perform RPM package):

[sunan@localhost ~]$ su - root
Password:
Last login: Mon Oct 28 20:12:16 CST 2019 from 192.168.1.19 on pts/0

(3) decompression installation package:

[root@localhost opt]# tar -xvf mysql-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm-bundle.tar
mysql-community-embedded-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-libs-compat-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-devel-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-embedded-compat-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-libs-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-test-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-common-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-embedded-devel-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-client-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm
mysql-community-server-5.7.28-1.el7.x86_64.rpm

(4) mounted decompressed packets, which need not all be mounted, but note that the order of installation, there is interdependence:

(5) the installation is complete, database initialization:

[root@localhost ~]# mysqld --initialize --user=mysql

(6) initialization is complete, generate a temporary database root password:

[root@localhost ~]# cat /var/log/mysqld.log

(7) to start MySQL:

[root@localhost ~]# systemctl start mysqld.service

(8) Log MySQL database, and set a new password:
