Godaddy Authentication

Godaddy recently received an e-mail to the effect that need to verify my account identity, temporarily froze the account in order to unlock the need to verify.

When you receive this email by surprise, and at first I did not look the mail, that is to sell or let me confirm Godaddy information, after carefully reading later found that there is a little different. Very early when I purchased a domain name at Godaddy and renewals for many years, been at peace, how all of a sudden let me verify the identity of it? Content of the message is as follows:

In order to confirm applicable regulatory compliance, we need additional documentation from you. Please provide a copy of your Passport within thirty (30) days from the date of this communication. If you do not have a Passport, please provide a copy of your National Identification. If you do not provide the requested documentation by that deadline, we will have no choice but to terminate any and all accounts you have with GoDaddy and/or its affiliates.
A scanned image (under 1 MB in size) can be attached as a response to this message. Upon receipt of the requested documentation, we will re-evaluate the status of your account. During this period, your account will remain locked. We appreciate your anticipated cooperation.

Then I landed emergency Godaddy account and found that is not on the landing, so the Chinese call customer service, customer service said that case they can not, must pass identity information to unlock, customer service was also told I had to pass English identity card information. Because not been abroad, so I did not have a passport, a short time to do it is not realistic, they pass the Chinese ID card to unlock the front and back photos, e-mails back along the following lines:

I am Chinese and I have no Passport ,this is my National Identification look at the attachment,please help me as soon as possible~

A few days later finally received the message re-opened, only a little sigh of relief. Godaddy reply message content is as follows:

Thank you for your inquiry. No further action is required at this time. Your account has been unlocked and is available for your use.

We appreciate your cooperation and look forward to doing business with you. Please contact Customer Support if you need any assistance in the future.
