The SPAT , i.e. Signal Timing Phase Message , traffic light phase timing message is V2I , roadside RSU integrated signal, or a signal by UU passing manner to the platform, for guiding a vehicle speed, a scene push green wave like;

The MAP , i.e. the MAP , the map information, the map message and SPAT used with the message, the MAP message may describe an intersection, the traffic light, and there is a correspondence relationship junction;

 

Two European standard information protocol stack standard CAM and DENM :

CAM , Cooperative Awareness the Message , cooperation sensory information, which is time-triggered speed information, provide vehicle, location, direction lights and traffic signal systems such as the state of the traffic lights, weather, reminders, and other information;

DENM , Decentralized Environmental the Notification the Message , distributed environments notification information, mainly for road hazard warning application is time-triggered information, once to the security risk events through the in-vehicle device detection (eg front of the vehicle emergency brake, road construction warning, etc.), automotive ITS related applications immediately launch DENM information, receives the vehicle can compare the vehicle's own position and driving directions, judge events from car association estimates potential risk of collision, the driver is notified in advance and take effective measures, according to location and type of event , may be required to receive DENM information outside the vehicle forward;
