- Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiple Access (OFDMA): effectively shared channel environments of high demand to increase network efficiency and reduce the uplink and downlink traffic delay.
- Multi-user multiple input multiple output (MU-MIMO): Allow more first transmission of downlink data, and the access point to simultaneously transmit more data devices.
- 160 MHz channel: increasing bandwidth, low latency provide higher performance.
- Target wake time (TWT): significant improvement in Wi-Fi devices (e.g. things device) battery life.
- Quadrature amplitude modulation module 1024 (1024-QAM): to increase the throughput of Wi-Fi devices by encoding more data in the same amount of spectrum.
- Transmit beamforming: higher data rate within a given range, so as to increase network capacity.
