Percona Toolkit 3.1.0 released, Percona Toolkit is a set of advanced command line tools for managing MySQL and system tasks.
New features and improvements
- 1696-PT : New pt-pg-summary tool, similar to the way other PT summary tool support PostgreSQL data collection.
- 1663-PT : There are two new options can limit the amount of disk space consumed by pt-stalk: -retention-size option allows pt-stalk store less than a specified number of megabytes, and run --retention-count limit option to save data frequency.
- 1741-PT : MongoDB has been migrated to the new drive
- 1761-PT : If the table has a foreign key, pt-online-schema-change will not run important tips in MySQL 8.0.14 .. 8.0.17 follows: From the current version 8.0.14 to 8.0.17, MySQL trying under certain error conditions rename table. As the final step in pt-online-schema-change was to rename the table in exchange for old and new, we added a check to prevent running when this error condition is met pt-online-schema-change.
