This month's Android security patch fixes Android framework, Media framework, Android system, kernel components, Qualcomm closed-source components and other critical vulnerabilities affecting Android system components. According to the announcement, "The most serious of these problems is a critical security vulnerability Media Framework assembly, which allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted file in the context of the privilege in the process. Severity assessment based on the exploitation of this vulnerability may affected by the impact produced by the device, assuming platforms and services is down mitigation measures for development purposes or successfully bypassed.
September 2019 of the Android security patch also brings more reliable improvements and security fixes for all supported Pixel equipment.
