Ceph 14.2.3 Nautilus released. Ceph is a scalable, distributed storage system, performance, safety and reliability, which is object-oriented, block and file storage.
This is the Ceph Nautilus release series of the third bug fix release that fixes some security issues.
A significant update includes:
- CVE-2019-10222- repair a denial of service vulnerability, which unauthenticated Ceph Object gateway client may trigger an exception uncaught crashes.
- You can now open the image on Jewel cluster based librbd client's Nautilus.
- RGW num_rados_handles has been deleted.
- Safe Mode Messenger v2 protocol is now the preferred connection mode.
- Reducing an "osd_deep_scrub_large_omap_object_key_threshold" in order to more easily detect a large number of key omap.
- Ceph dashboard now supports Prometheus notice muted.
