docker installation CentOS7

A mounting step

Prerequisites

Docker running on CentOS7, the system requires 64-bit kernel version 3.10 or more.

Docker is a process, a start on two processes, a service, a daemon. Footprint is very small, start-up speed very

1, root account login to view the kernel version follows

[root@localhost ~]# uname -a
Linux localhost.qgc 3.10.0-862.11.6.el7.x86_64 #1 SMP Tue Aug 14 21:49:04 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

2, uninstall the old version (if an old version installed)

$ sudo yum remove docker  docker-common docker-selinux docker-engine

3, required installation package, yum-util provide yum-config-manager function, the other two are driven dependent devicemapper

$ sudo yum install -y yum-utils device-mapper-persistent-data lvm2

4, plus software source

[liu @ localhost ~] $ sudo  yum -config-Manager --add-repo HTTP: // mirrors.aliyun.com/docker-ce/linux/centos/docker-ce.repo
sudo : yum -config-Manager: the Command not found ----- (represented depend on the environment is not installed)

5, you can view all versions of all warehouse docker, and select a particular version installed (optional)

$ yum list docker-ce --showduplicates | sort -r

6: Set up a remote repository

$sudo yum-config-manager --add-repo https://download.docker.com/linux/centos/docker-ce.repo

执行结果: Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks adding repo from: https://download.docker.com/linux/centos/docker-ce.repo grabbing file https://download.docker.com/linux/centos/docker-ce.repo to /etc/yum.repos.d/docker-ce.repo repo saved to /etc/yum.repos.d/docker-ce.repo

7, update the cache

  1. yum makecache fast

8, installation docker

$ sudo yum install docker-ce

执行结果: Loaded plugins: fastestmirror, langpacks docker

Nine, start docker and add startup

Sudo systemctl Start Docker $
$ sudo systemctl enable Docker

or (recommended above)
$ sudo Service Docker Start
Service Start # Start Docker Docker
chkconfig boot join Docker ON #

Ten, verify that the installation was successful (there are two parts, client service and installation start indicate docker had been successful)

Hello from Docker!
This message shows that your installation appears to be working correctly.

To generate this message, Docker took the following steps:
 1. The Docker client contacted the Docker daemon.
 2. The Docker daemon pulled the "hello-world" image from the Docker Hub.
 3. The Docker daemon created a new container from that image which runs the
    executable that produces the output you are currently reading.
 4. The Docker daemon streamed that output to the Docker client, which sent it
    to your terminal.

To try something more ambitious, you can run an Ubuntu container with:
 $ docker run -it ubuntu bash

Second, the problem

1, since before the old version of the docker is already installed, when installed being given as follows:

Copy the code
Transaction check error:

2, uninstall the old version of the package

$ sudo yum erase docker-common-2:1.12.6-68.gitec8512b.el7.centos.x86_64

3, re-install docker

$ sudo yum install docker-ce
