database setup
MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server , MariaDB, MongoDB
time in the "Database" tab, you can set up a connection to the server which database navigation pane displays. This setting is not mandatory. To set up a custom database settings, check the "Use custom database list." Then, from the "name" column check the database to be displayed. Navicat automatically open the database if you want to connect, check the "Auto Open" box.
Add a hidden database to the list
click on the "+" button.
Enter the database name.
Check the newly added database in the database list.
Remove a database from the list,
select a database in the database list.
Click the "-" button.
[Note] database will be removed from the list of databases, it still exists in the server.
SQLite
in the "Database" tab, you can connect additional a SQLite database file. Click the "+" button and enter the information:
Option Description
Database Name Enter the database name Navicat displayed.
Database file Select the file path to the database.
If the encrypted database file is encrypted, check this option and provides a "password."
To detach a database, select it from the list and click the "-" button.
