A few days ago, digital painting software Krita has released version 4.2.4, a variety of bug fixes. A few days later, Krita 4.2.5 release on August 2.
Krita 4.2.4 and 4.2.5 Release Highlights:
- The use in the file name points possible.
- Shortcuts pop-up message correction is not completed correctly.
- Fixed saving system.
- Some fixes and improvements to conversion tools.
- The assistant editor constrained to view port
- Asserted Repair conversion tools used in tablets and touch

For Ubuntu 18.04, Ubuntu 19.04 and Linux Mint 19.x, perform the following steps from the Krita Lime PPA to install the latest version.
1. Open the terminal through the Ctrl + Alt + T keyboard shortcut or from the application menu search "terminal." When opened, the run command to add PPA:
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kritalime/ppa
Type your user password (no asterisk feedback) at the prompt and press Enter.
2. Krita then upgrade or update software to install or upgrade software in the drawing by one operation command terminal:
sudo apt update
sudo apt install krita
To delete a PPA, please start the "software and updates" and then navigate to the "Other Software" tab.
To delete Krita, run the command:
sudo apt remove --autoremove covered krita- *

For 64-bit Ubuntu 16.04, Linux Mint 18.x, get appimage from the following link:
Then right-click and set as executable file from the "Properties" dialog box will appimage file. Finally, run the file to start Krita.
