In the purchase of Reserved Instance, you can choose between the standard and convertible product categories. Reserved Instance applied to a single instance of the type, internet, and a range within a lease period. When computing needs change, you can modify or exchange Reserved Instance according to product category. Product categories may be other restrictions or limitations.
The following is the difference between the standard and convertible product categories.

Standard conversion can be purchased and set aside to apply to instances of a particular instance of the available area (area available reserved for instance) or an instance (instance regional reservation) in a certain area.
