The AIX system mounts external storage

After mapping the land cabinet partition the disk cabinet.

 

1. scanning hardware can be found enclosure mapping capacity, command cfgmgr

2, see the AIX the system can deny the enclosure partition. Command: lsdev -Cc disk

3, see the physical volume ( PV ), the command: lspv

4, activate PVID, command chdev -l hdisk2 -a pv = yes

5, create VG, command smitty mkvg

6, create LV, command smitty mklv

Clear PP SIZE and TOTAL PPS relations 16 * 639 = 10224 ( 10g )

Command: smitty mklv
