The main reason given is: webapp there is no INF-WEB / web.xml file in the project we just created
Solution:
Right Project -> Properties for ** Double-click to open the Properties window, and then click Maven-> Project Facets
Find the option in the following figure, the unchecked
Click on the bottom right of Apply, and then select the top below the Dynamic Web Module will appear as shown:
Click on the figure, enters the following:
Generate web.xml tick in front of and modifications to the Content directory src / main / webapp
And then has been ok, Apply to be all right.
