Replacing the checks failed disk vnx

Replacing the checks failed disk vnx

Steps:

1. Before replacing the failed disk again confirm the operating state of the bad disk.

2. Before replacing a failed disk, confirming the status of the RAID group and LUN.

You must wait for rebuilding to complete before continuing.

3. If there have been a failed disk and hot spare is being rebuilt (rebuild) RAID process, you can replace the failed disk during reconstruction.

If reconstruction is completed, FLARE will reconstructed data copied back from the hot spare (equalize) the new disc replacement. It is strongly recommended after the completion of the reconstruction process such as replacing a failed disk.

4. If the hot spare rebuilding a RAID group, RAID group in case there are some errors a log disk, do not replace the second block before the reconstruction of the disc is completed.

Alternatively this case there will be a second double fault block disc problems.

5. If the hard disk has not been completely damaged, must be replaced prior to do a background check (Background Verify) to LUN where all of this disc.
