1, review the system requirements
Docker system requirements CentOS kernel version higher than 3.10, see the kernel version of CentOS.
# uname -a
2, remove the old version
# yum remove docker docker-common docker-selinux docker-engine
3, install the required packages
yum-util provide yum-config-manager function, the other two are driven dependent devicemapper
# yum install -y yum-utils device-mapper-persistent-data lvm2
4, the source provided Docker yum
# yum-config-manager --add-repo https://download.docker.com/linux/centos/docker-ce.repo
5, view all versions of all warehouse docker
You can view all versions of all warehouse docker, and select a particular version installed.
# yum list docker-ce --showduplicates | sort -r
6, installation docker
# yum install docker-ce
Since the repo default open only stable warehouse, so here to install the latest stable 18.03.0.ce-1.el7.centos.
If you want to install a specific version:
# yum install docker-ce-18.06.1.ce
7. Start
To boot
# systemctl enable docker
start up
# systemctl start docker
View startup state
# systemctl status docker
View version
# docker version
