mxd symbol garbage problem

Problem Description:

mxd symbol garbled, ArcGIS10.1 10.2 version.

If copied from one computer to another normal mxd a computer, open symbols distortion mxd found, then you install corresponding font files so no help.

Solution:

The fastest solution is to first install the correct font symbol file, and then re-copy the mxd.

The slowest solution is to re-reference the symbol on the open mxd.
