Directory organization working machine

  • C drive only put the program as much as possible, and hold personal data / document; D disk try just put personal data / documents, and hold the program (except green, extracting version of the program).
  • Given the nature of the work of programmers
    • C drive so you can organize
      • Installed version of the program to make use of the default installation directory
    • D drive so you can organize
      • Directory has a workspace in which to put the various SCM or project type of code, such as git, svn, cc, sts, eclipse
      • Installer has a directory in which to put the various installation package
      • There is a software catalog, which put all kinds of green, unpacked version of the program
      • There is a document directory, where to put various working documents
        • office: put general office documents, such as IT applications, insurance documents, printer, time and attendance system documentation, etc.
        • self / private: put personal documents
        • project: Each project documents put participation
        • email: put local mail data file
