(3) DVT (Design Verification the Test, design verification and testing phase)

(2) EVT: Engineering Verification Test (engineering verification test phase)
Generally at this stage is only produced by the sample circuit board, and is the kind of a big board, we usually call "Big Board", R & D engineers often will first want to verify his idea, or can not decide Design in this pendulum above the board. Therefore, this project is designed generally to verify the hardware circuit (verification), debugging (debug) purposes only, you may be hard to imagine that the board will become in the future a compact phone or product.
There may be several times EVT trial production, research and development, as the situation may be, but each time the sample trial production is not a small fee, can be used to resolve once EVT, then do not do the first two EVT. If the design is a product belonging to modify the existing design, it will be relatively simple, because there are not many new technologies, it does not require much EVT trial production, sometimes even skip EVT into the next stage.
EVT focuses on all possible design issues must be put forward amendments one by one, so the focus in considering the feasibility of the design, specification and check whether any were missing.
(3) DVT: Design Verification Test (DVT stage)
This is the second phase of research and development, design hair all think it should have been completed. To verify this stage of the whole function, the focus is to find out the design and manufacture of the problem to ensure that all designs meet specifications, but also can be produced.
(4) PVT: Production Verification Test (production verification testing phase)
This stage of product design should have all been completed, verify that all design must also come to an end. The pilot stage of the manufacturing process aims to do the test before mass production, it is necessary to produce a certain number of products, and all production procedures must comply with the manufacturer's standard procedure. Also calculate all governance tools, test fixture and if the number of production facilities can meet the large number of postpartum capacity (capacity).
