The disk is set to read-only

For storage devices, Class Driver (eg disk.sys, cdrom.sys, ramdisk.sys) IRP converted into SRB, addressed to port Driver (eg USBSTOR.sys or atapi.sys).

If the filter Disk.sys, IOCTL_DISK_IS_WRITABLE disk.sys may be sent to the status code returned STATUS_MEDIA_WRITE_PROTECTED.

If the filter usbstor.sys, may be sent to the usbstor.sys SCSIOP_MODE_SENSE, plus MODE_DSP_WRITE_PROTECT parameters.
