Gregorian reform of the calendar (Gregorian Reformation) is thought to occur on September 3, 1752. Prior to this, most countries have recognized this reform (despite some early 20th century until it was approved). 10 days after the day in this reform was omitted, so that month's calendar is not too unusual.
