PS Tutorial: How to set up watercolor effect?

1. Open the image ps. Right-click on the background layer and select Convert to Smart Object.

2. Click the filter> Filter Gallery> Artistic Effects> dry brush, change the setting: Brush Size 10, 10 and brush detail texture 1, click OK to apply the effect.

3. Select again Filter> Filter effects> artistic effect> wood, making sure not to select the top of the default option, which will re-apply the same effect, setting the following parameters: the number of tones is 5, the degree of edge 4 and edge simplified fidelity 1

4. Back panel layer, the mixed layer to the spot light.

Filter menu 5. Click again, this time selecting deblurring> Special Blur parameters: radius of 5, threshold value 100, and change the "quality" as "high."

6. Double filter mixed Editing option to change the blend mode to the special color blur, and the opacity to 50%.

7. Click Filter> Stylize> Find Edges. Change the blending options to edit and mix mode to "multiply" make the background transparent, it will leave only find the edge effect detail to represent the pencil sketch.

8. Find a free paper textures, such as the ivory white paper texture. Copy and paste the texture into Photoshop document and scale it to fit the size of the canvas. Change the mixing mode to "multiply"

9. Add a layer mask to the background layer, then use the ALT + Backspace shortcut filled with black mask, which would effectively erase the entire picture. Click the Brush tool, choose a watercolor pen.

10. toolbar to switch the foreground color to white, adjust the size of the brush. Click to reply canvas rendering of a photograph edge watercolor style.
