In our laboratory, no matter for the training of seniors or teachers, all GND networks do not need to be connected. After connecting all the two-layer copper-clad networks of the double-layer board to GND, the GND networks are automatically connected together. Therefore, before This is the method used when drawing circuit boards.
The reason why part of the GND is not connected to the network is that the previous circuit board area was larger and the traces were looser. However, the DRV8701 driver drawn now is smaller and the traces are tighter, resulting in part of the copper coating not being connected to the outside world. See picture below

Cause Analysis

1The part in the white box in the above picture is the top copper layer with the network gnd. Due to the compactness of the wires, it is not connected to gnd in the upper right corner. As a result, the network in the white box is blocked from the outside world.
2In the above picture, gnd in the white box is connected to the lower one. gnd is in the connected state, so the gnd here is in the available state.
3As shown in the picture above, due to the tight wiring, the top layer of copper here is not covered, and only the bottom layer is copper. As a result, gnd here is also unavailable.

Solution

1. All gnd networks can be connected with wires, so that no strange problems will occur.
2. If you have friends who have the same habit, you can connect gnds with short distances and drill a separate via hole in the gnd part that is prone to isolation. It penetrates to the bottom layer and is coated with copper
