Preface

DoIP overview:

DoIP (Diagnostic communication over Internet Protocol), an automotive diagnostic protocol based on IP networks. DoIP technology can realize local diagnosis, remote diagnosis, over-the-air download technology and other functions.
The DoIP protocol is used for the transmission of UDS diagnostics. ISO13400 specifies the physical layer, data link layer, network layer, and transport layer of DoIP. ISO14229 specifies the session layer and application layer. The DoIP protocol transmits diagnostic messages based on the TCP/UDP protocol.

Advantages of DoIP
