Paper sharing: Fault Diagnosis and Fault-Tolerant Control of Wind Turbines (Fault Diagnosis and Fault-Tolerant Control of Wind Turbines)

1. Introduction

This master's thesis was written by two students from the Department of Automation and Control at Aalborg University, who specialize in intelligent autonomous systems. This article is a document of work done between September 5, 2008 and June 3, 2009. It mainly studies fault diagnosis and fault-tolerant control of wind turbines. The project team would like to thank Peter Fogh Odgaard of KK-electronic a/s for his help throughout the project, who supervised the project team and provided model parameters.

Paper references

The reference source is such as [Esbensen et al., 2008, p42], where the author's name, publication year and page number are in square brackets.

Figures and tables are referenced by the number of the object. In Figure 2.1, the first number represents the chapter, and the second number represents the consecutive number of the chapter.

References to other parts of the paper are made by referring to the number of the section in which the content is contained, as shown in Section 1.4.

However, the meaning of equations is very similar to graphs and tables, with the numbers enclosed in parentheses; that is, equation (3.6).

The nomenclature on the second page describes the special symbols and symbols for wind turbine models.

Page 167 comes with a DVD containing MATLAB scripts and Simulink models developed for wind turbine systems. Additionally, model parameters and tuning parameters are located here.
