The story of SpongeBob SquarePants takes place in a city called Beechburg in the sea. It mainly tells the life story of a group of sea creatures.
Spongebob is a yellow square sponge with a very optimistic and happy character. He lives under a pineapple near Beechburg and leads a fun-filled life with his best friends Squidward Tentacles and Gary the Snail.
