Cloud-native applications based on container technology and container orchestration are accepted and used by more and more enterprise users, and the proportion of container technology used in production environments is increasing year by year. Kubernetes has undoubtedly become the de facto basis for container orchestration, and KubeSphere, the open source container platform developed based on Kubernetes, has also gained a lot of fans.
KubeSphere has been heavily used by more and more companies, and more and more companies require employees to understand or even be proficient in KubeSphere when recruiting. So how to determine the degree of mastery? The corresponding examination certification is the most direct way of proof.
In October, the community launched a KubeSphere exam question collection activity, which was finally successfully completed. I would like to thank all community partners for their support and contribution. This is an interesting attempt. We will also continue to collect opinions and suggestions from community users and companies interested in KubeSphere. You can send them to [email protected].

Exam instructions
Certification Category
We have designed three certification exams, namely "Administrator Certification", "Enterprise Edition Administrator Certification", and "Extension Component Developer Certification". Currently, only the KubeSphere administrator certification, which is the personal skills certification exam, is online, so the following only introduces the personal skills certification exam.
Personal skills certification only includes questions about the KubeSphere open source version. Based on the user's understanding of the KubeSpere open source version, it is tested whether the user is a qualified KubeSphere administrator.

The KubeSphere Administrator Certification Exam is free and open to everyone without paying.
Exam question types
There are currently three types of exam questions:
- Multiple choice questions: 30 questions, each question is worth 1 point, the difficulty level is normal;
- True or False questions: 30 questions, each question is worth 1 point, and the difficulty level is normal;
- Multiple choice questions: 10 questions, each question is worth 4 points, and the difficulty level is hard.

Everyone has 2 opportunities to take the exam, which lasts for one hour (60 minutes).
Test score explanation
The full score of the exam is 100 points. If you reach 60 points, you can pass the exam and obtain the certification certificate.

Certificate expiration date
The validity period of the certificate is 2 years from the date of obtaining the certificate.
During the validity period of the certificate, if you accumulate 10 or more points, it can be renewed. Methods for obtaining points include but are not limited to technical live broadcasts, Meetups, document contributions and other community activities. For specific points rules, please refer to the subsequent regulations.

After you complete the exam (hand in the paper), if your score is qualified (reaching 60 points), the exam system will automatically issue you a certification certificate (electronic version).
way of participation
Register and log in to the KubeSphere Cloud platform , then open the exam registration page and click the registration button to enter the exam page to take the exam.
Precautions
- The exam system will detect the number of times the examinee has cut out the page. If the test takes more than three times, the paper will be automatically handed in, so please allow sufficient time for the exam.
- The order of the exam questions will be disrupted, so pay attention to the question types before the question stems during the exam.
- Before handing in the paper, please check whether there are any missed questions.
