Cisco has launched what they call a simple, attractively priced factory infrastructure bundle to help manufacturers quickly and easily scale their infrastructure for the myriad of connected devices they bring online as part of their IoT initiatives. These bundles share a common Cisco Industrial Ethernet 5000 Series switch.

Connected Factory Network Accelerator Pack
The Connected Factory Network Accelerator Bundle delivers a unified, converged factory-wide network that enables flexible automation and machine-level visibility with rapid fault isolation and resiliency for extremely reliable networking and rapid identification of network issues. This reduces the overall hardware footprint by aggregating the system with Cisco industrial switches while reducing network interface card (NIC) and cabling costs.
Connected Factory Wireless Booster Bundle
The Connected Factory Wireless Accelerator Bundle provides wireless connectivity for connecting a variety of devices, including machines, handheld devices and automated guided vehicles (AGVs). Proper system architecture provides the flexibility to quickly change production lines and move assets. This architecture supports location-based tags and hyper-positioned sensors, providing extremely high visibility into assets and goods moving through the factory. This also includes support for mobile high-definition (HD) cameras.
