Windows 11 Quickly Install Linux Subsystem (WSL2)
Introduction
If you want to use Linux on Windows 11, the most convenient way is to use the Linux subsystem (WSL2).
It will start a virtual machine in the system to run Linux. It has high performance, strong interoperability and is supported by many tools.
Supports multiple Linux distributions, using Ubuntu as the subsystem by default.
Install
1. Open the terminal and enter the command
wsl --install
Executing the command requires administrator privileges
2. Wait for completion and restart the computer
3. Start the subsystem and create an account
After the computer restarts, the subsystem will start automatically. If it does not start automatically, you can find "Ubuntu" in the start menu to start it manually. Or the subsystem has started automatically but has not responded for a long time. You can shut down the subsystem and start it manually.
