How to deploy Wing FTP Server and public network remote access in Windows system [intranet penetration]

Wing FTP Server installation and configuration combined with intranet penetration enables public network access to local sites

Preface

Wing FTP Server is a professional cross-platform FTP server. In addition to providing the basic service functions of FTP, it can also provide administrator terminals, task schedules, Web-based management terminals, Web-based clients and Lua script extensions, etc. , it also supports virtual folders, upload and download ratio allocation, disk capacity allocation, ODBC/Mysql storage accounts and other features, and supports operating systems such as Windows, Linux, MacOS and Solaris.

Let me briefly share with you how to download, install and deploy Wing FTP Server under Windows systems, and combine it with the cpolar intranet penetration tool to achieve public network access to local sites for file sharing management without the need for a public IP or setting up a router.

1. Download and install Wing FTP Server

This tutorial takes Windows system as an example. Click the official website link to download: https://www.wftpserver.com/zh/download.htm

After downloading, double-click the application, select the language 确定and click Next to install:

Choose to accept

Select the path you plan to install. Here I choose to install WingFTP Server on the D drive, and then click Next:

Then click Next by default:

The port number is default 5466, click Next:

Administrator username and password settings: I filled in the username here root, and the password needs to be at least 8 characters. I filled it in 12345678, and everyone can fill it in by themselves, and then click Next:

You can choose additional tasks according to your own needs, click Next:

Click to install:

After the installation progress bar runs out, click Finish, and the Wing FTP Server management console will automatically start:

2.Wing FTP Server configuration and deployment

In the management console login interface after startup, enter the user name and password you just set, and click Login:

After logging in, a pop-up window will pop up prompting that there is currently no domain used to provide services. Click OK to create a new domain:

After clicking OK, a create domain window will pop up. You need to fill in the domain ID and binding IP address. You can take a screenshot of the port number below and save it.

Set the domain ID casually: I filled it incp.ftp.cn

Bind IP address to facilitate memory: I filled it out127.0.0.1

Then click OK:

After clicking OK, a pop-up will appear indicating that there is no user account in the domain just created. You need to click OK to create a user:

When adding a user interface, you need to fill in the username and password. Here I chose the same username and password as above for the convenience of memory. You can also set different ones by yourself:

Then click 选择the button to the right of the home directory:

In the pop-up Add Directory window, click 选择the button to the right of the physical path:

The path I chose here is D:/, and then click OK:

Then return to the Add User window and click OK

At this point, we have created a new domain in Wing FTP Server and the current status is displayed online.

At this point, we enter it in the browser localhostand press Enter to log in to the Wing FTP Server management interface in the LAN.

As shown in the picture above, the local deployment of Wing FTP Server is successful.

3. Install cpolar intranet penetration

At this point, the Wing FTP Server has been successfully logged in and running, but it can only be accessed locally. If we plan to access the Wing FTP service on the intranet at any time in the public network environment, we need to install the cpolar intranet penetration tool to achieve this.

3.1 Register an account

Enter cpolar official website: https://www.cpolar.com/

Click on the upper right corner 免费注册, use your email to register a cpolar account for free and log in

3.2 Download cpolar client

After successfully logging in, click to download cpolar locally and install it (you can install it by default all the way). In this tutorial, you choose to download the Windows version.

3.3 Log in to the cpolar web ui management interface

Access 127.0.0.1:9200 on the browser and use the registered cpolar email account to log in to the cpolar web ui management interface (default is local port 9200)

3.4 Create a public network address

隧道管理After successfully logging in and entering the main interface, we click - on the left dashboard 隧道列表, and then click 创建隧道.

• Tunnel name: The name can be customized and cannot be repeated with the existing tunnel name. I filled it in here.wftp

• Protocol: Selecthttp

• Local address:80

• Domain name type: Free package selection随机域名

• area:China Top

Click创建

At this time, click on the left 状态, 在线隧道列表you can see the wftp tunnel you just created, and two public network addresses are generated. There are two access methods, namely http and https. Copy an address at will and open it in a public network computer browser. That’s it, as shown in the figure below, it means that the public network has successfully accessed the Wing FTP Server of the local intranet.

4. Fixed public network address access

It should be noted that this tutorial uses a random temporary address on the public network generated by free cpolar. This address will change within 24 hours. For users who need to use Wing FTP Server in the external network environment for a long time, configure a fixed The address is necessary.

Therefore, we can configure a second-level subdomain name for it. This address is a fixed address and will not change randomly [ps: cpolar.cn has been filed]

Note that you need to upgrade the cpolar package to a basic package or above, and the bandwidth corresponding to each package is different. [cpolar.cn has been registered]

Log in to the cpolar official website, click Reserve on the left, select to reserve the second-level subdomain name, set a second-level subdomain name, click, and copy the 保留reserved second-level subdomain name after the reservation is successful.

Take this tutorial as an example, select the region China VIP, fill in the second-level domain name wftptest, fill in the description test, and click 保留.

隧道管理After the reservation is successful, copy the reserved second-level subdomain address, log in to the cpolar web UI management interface, click - on the left dashboard 隧道列表, find the tunnel to be configured: wftp, and click on the right编辑

Modify the tunnel information and configure the successfully reserved second-level subdomain name into the tunnel.

• Domain name type: Select二级子域名
• Sub Domain: Fill in the successfully reserved second-level subdomain namewftptest
• Region: SelectChina VIP

Click更新

After the update is completed, open it 在线隧道列表. At this time, you can see that the public network address has changed, and the address name has also become a reserved and fixed second-level subdomain name.

Finally, we use a fixed public network address for connection access, copy the second-level subdomain name: http://wftptest.vip.cpolar.cn and open it in the browser of another public network computer. There are no errors or connection exceptions. You can see If the connection is successful, a fixed address access will be set up. You can use this domain name to access the intranet Wing FTP Server from the public network anytime and anywhere.
