1. Chinese model taking

The OLED LCD screen we use is composed of 128*64 light-emitting dots, that is, the resolution is 128*64. ASCII codes can be 6*8, 8*8, or 8*16 pixels, and Chinese characters are generally displayed with 16*16 pixels . Generally, in order to achieve ideal display effect, English and numbers are often displayed in 8*16 pixels.

It is recommended to use a relatively easy-to-use mold-taking software: PCtoLCD2002

1. Open the mold taking software PCtoLCD2002 and set the mode to character mode:

2.Option settings:

3. Chinese model taking demonstration (taking Song font, 16*16 dot matrix as an example)

2. Picture taking model

Because the OLED LCD screen we use is composed of 128*64 luminous dot matrix, that is, the resolution is 128*64. Then the picture resolution (pixels) we use is up to 128 * 64 and the picture needs to be in bmp format.

1. Convert the image format to bmp  format and set the resolution to no more than 128*64

I use the drawing software that comes with win10 as an example to demonstrate:

The pixels here can also be set to other values, but the maximum is 128*64

Save as bmp picture file, select monochrome bitmap

2. Open the mold taking software PCtoLCD2002 and import the bmp image just generated

This mode will automatically change to picture mode (if you don’t change it, change it yourself):

3.Option settings:

4. Picture taking demonstration
