Preface

The core function of the pen tool is to draw a selection. What you draw is called a path. It does not belong to any layer, but holding down Ctrl + Enter will make it a selection.

After drawing the picture, if you want to select the path again, there are two methods:
1. Path selection tool

2. Ctrl + click path

1. Straight line drawing

2. Curve drawing, hold down the shift key vertical/horizontal/45°

3. Add and reduce anchor points (click on the anchor point on the path to add and delete)

This refers to adding anchor points to the closed area to add details. Just click directly on the path. The same goes for deleting.

5. For handle control, first hold down Alt + click on an anchor point to have two handle control points (middle point)

When you hold down alt, it is equivalent to selecting the [Convert Point Tool], and then adjust the handle control point of this anchor point.

1. Close the path and delete the handle

Then you can control the handles on both sides for precise selection
