【Ordinary Us】

Although I know that knowledge takes time to accumulate, what should I do if I still feel anxious when I see that someone else will do the questions I can't solve, or that others will write the code I can't write?
*Have you ever been confused because of the gap between yourself and the people around you? Has this confusion been overcome by you now, or does it still bother you?

1. One’s own feelings

As an ordinary person, I always feel the gap between myself and other people in daily life. It is clear that others can do it once, but why do I need to do it many times but still fail? All the efforts I put in seem to be in vain. Some people may say that your so-called efforts are just efforts for yourself and are ineffective. However, for ordinary people, inefficient efforts are already the best explanation for yourself.
When I was a student, I imagined that I might be gifted, as if many things were easy to do. However, what seemed like an easy threshold corresponded to the dividends of the times and adjustments to national policies. When the so-called talent was used up, I discovered that I was so ordinary that I fell into self-doubt for a long time. I had a single-threaded thinking in my student days and wanted to practice everything and be comprehensive. The most precious youth in life is wasted under the shell of hard work and experience.
After leaving school, potential indicators such as family background and communication skills remind yourself all the time that you are one of the most insignificant people among all living beings. No one cares about your existence except your parents. The gap between people is getting bigger and bigger. People who originally seemed to be on the same starting line, after walking out of the ivory tower called school, got on their own exclusive transportation and moved forward quickly on the road called life. Looking back at myself, I only have a pair of still sound legs, walking slowly step by step with heavy steps.
For myself, I will inadvertently think of why I am living like this, so what if I press the pause button on my life? Look back at the road I have traveled, it is winding and there is even a way back.
The confusion of life seems not to exist but also seems to have never disappeared.

2. What do you want to do?

Sometimes you need to tell yourself, be optimistic. You still have a healthy body and an above-average skin. If you can't keep up with others, it's better to let go of the desire to compare. Be patient and consider what you are good at. When I was a child, I said that the amount of water a barrel can hold depends on the shortest board. Now it seems that when the barrel is tilted, the amount of water it can hold depends on the longest board. I understand the truth, but it’s hard to live my life well.
When you feel confused, you can put down what you are doing and give yourself a short period of time to think about what you need, or choose something you are interested in doing, actively accept new information in the world, and explore the trends of the times. , it may be difficult for us to be the first to discover the trend, but even if it is the last train, the benefits brought by catching the trend will become a quick journey in life.

3. One’s own mentality

In this era, everyone is anxious, and it is increasingly difficult to do behaviors that require time to settle. Impetuousness seems to have become synonymous with this era. More and more fragmented knowledge and fragmented information are filling us all the time. To think clearly, we need to calm down, filter out the impetuous debris, and see the path under our feet clearly. Can't see clearly? How can you see clearly when you are standing there? Although the harder you work in the wrong direction, the more embarrassed you will be. If you don’t even walk on the path under your feet, it may be difficult to even determine what the wrong direction is. Do it, at least do it. We are just ordinary people. Identity, the earlier the illusions are shattered, the firmer the steps will be.

When you can accept your own ordinaryness, you have successfully taken the first step away from the ordinary. This is just to encourage each other.
