1. What is PowerDesigner?
PowerDesigner is Sybase's CASE tool set. It can be used to easily analyze and design management information systems. It includes almost the entire process of database model design. PowerDesigner can be used to create data flow charts, conceptual data models (ConceptualDataModel), physical data models (PhysicalDataModel), structural models for data warehouses, and control of team design models.
PowerDesigner uniquely integrates multiple standard data modeling technologies (UML, business process modeling, and market-leading data modeling) and integrates it with mainstream development platforms such as .NET, WorkSpace, PowerBuilder, Java™, and Eclipse, thus Provide business analysis and standardized database design solutions for traditional software development cycle management.
Additionally, it supports over 60 relational database management systems (RDBMS)/versions.
2. Install PowerDesigner
1. Double-click the .exe suffix to install
The version I installed is version 16.5
2. Click next
3. Be sure to select Hong Kong here , click IAGREE, and then click Next;
4. Select an installation directory. The default is to install on the C drive (according to personal choice). Then click Next;
5. At this point, if the "Eclipse" software is not installed on your computer, please do not check this plug-in option. Click next again
6. Click General and Notaion, then click Next;
7. Click next
8. Click Next directly; enter the installation interface.
9. Click Finish (installation completed)
2. Change font size
1. The steps are as follows:
tools —> general options —> fonts —> defalut UI font, select the font style and size, as shown in the figure below.
