We can see that the journals have been sorted according to the impact factor (JIF). The greater the impact factor, the higher the level of the journal, and the more difficult it is to submit.

What is JCR
Journal Citation Reports (JCR) is an academic journal evaluation tool published by Clarivate Analytics (formerly Thomson Reuters).
It provides various evaluation indicators and data of academic journals around the world, including journal impact factor, citation frequency, cited frequency and citation half-life, etc.
The purpose of JCR is to help academics understand the academic influence and citation status of journals in order to evaluate academic research and select publications.
The difference between SCIE and ESCI
SCIE and ESCI are two index databases commonly used to measure the impact of academic journals.
SCIE (Science Citation Index Expanded) is one of the index databases published by Clarivate Analytics (Thomson Reuters). It covers high-quality academic journals in the scientific field and evaluates and ranks them based on the journal's citation frequency, impact factor and other indicators. SCIE is widely recognized and used as an important reference for evaluating journals, and is adopted by many universities and research institutions.
ESCI (Emerging Sources Citation Index) is a subset of SCIE and is also published by Clarivate Analytics. ESCI includes some emerging journals that are considered to have potential and growth, as well as some academic conference proceedings. ESCI's goal is to provide greater exposure to these journals and scholarly activities, and to provide them with citation data that could potentially enter broader indexing databases such as SCIE.
