I heard that Xiao Ma from Songsong customer service broke the news: ByteDance has launched a new AI large-scale dialogue tool called "Doubao". I actually checked and found that it was already online as early as August 18th. It turns out that this "bean bag" is actually a continuation of the previous AI project codenamed "Grace" inside Byte.
The biggest feature of this tool is: free without queuing, direct login with Douyin mobile phone number, no invitation code required, direct registration, and free use! You can directly register on the official website. In addition to the web version, you can also download the app through the QR code on the official website.
We also conducted a wave of actual tests. Currently, this tool is still in the early development stage and has many limitations. Lu Songsong briefly tested it and found that some of the generated content was inaccurate. But overall, it feels like it is at the same level as GPT3.5, and the generation speed is very fast.
In terms of chatting , I feel that it is better at chatting. After all, the default is voice input, which is suitable for ordinary chatting. Moreover, "Doubao" uses the voice of the young lady to talk to you, and you can choose your favorite voice, which sounds smooth. Although the function is still a little problematic, its algorithm and speech understanding ability still need to be improved, and its logical reasoning also needs to be strengthened.
In terms of functions , I tried it and found that it can also program, write speeches, check popular information, and even write Douyin short video scripts and Xiaohongshu scripts, and it can also handle mathematics and programming.
Alas, there are a lot of AI dialogue tools on the market now, and there are really not a few AI products launched by domestic companies. For example, Baidu's "Wen Xin Yi Yan", Alibaba's "Tongyi Qianwen", WPS's "WPS AI", 360's "360 Intelligent Brain", and iFlytek's "Spark" and so on.
Having said that, many people used to think that our Chinese technology companies would imitate others, but after so many years of development, our technology companies have become more and more powerful. We can also create our own things, we are fully capable of competing in the international market, proving that we also have a place in the world!
