Install

set up
Set the workspace directory

in the upper left corner–>File —>Preferences —>General—>Action on startup —>check open the defult, and select Folder
to select the working directory, so that you can view notes according to the directory structure
Set the default image storage location
Upper left corner –>File —>Images —> Set storage directory

Compared with Typora, MarkText does not have Ctrl+1 by default, the first-level title and the second-level title...
but more advanced than Typora, MarkText can manually modify the shortcut keys
in the upper left corner –>File —>Key Bindings to bind shortcut keys,
Modification method :
Ctrl+1 is occupied by Misc:Switch tab to the 1st. If it is occupied, click Delete to clear it.
Set ctirl + 1 in Paragraph : Transform into Heading 1,
set ctrl + 2 in Paragraph : TranSform into Heading 2 ...
both are set Fortunately, save it at the bottom, restart the software and it will take effect
basic use
- space after minus sign in unordered list
- ordered list number dot space
- space after text block >
- Code block```Enter the code type, press Enter
- First-level/second-level/third-level headings ctrl +1 /ctrl +2 /ctrl +3 (need to modify the shortcut keys above)
- hide/show sidebar ctrl + J
- Enter @ to choose to enter title/mathematical formula/table/embedded html page, etc.
