Delete the history of Finder by right-clicking on Mac

The menu popped up by right-clicking the Finder icon in the Dock will display the recently opened folders, and the recent items in  delete all records, but the list still cannot be cleared.

Method 1:

Open a terminal and run the command

defaults delete com.apple.finder FXRecentFolders

Method 2:

Select the Finder, go to the top of the screen - recent folder - clear menu

Method 3:

First install the PlistEdit Pro tool to open the .plist file, download address: https://www.fatcatsoftware.com/plisteditpro/

Open Finder, use the shortcut key "cmd+shift+g" to enter the directory "/Users/your username/Library/Preferences/com.apple.finder.plist"

Hold down "option" and right-click the Finder in the Dock, and select "Restart" to delete the history. (Before restarting, remember to close the open Finder window first, otherwise the history of the current window will not be cleared.)
