Google unveiled a new design for the Chrome Web Store on August 30 .

The new design is definitely more modern compared to the current interface - familiar rounded corners, generous spacing :)
The new version of the website includes three modules: the new "Explore" homepage, extensions, and theme backgrounds. There are also different partitions under each module to facilitate users to find new themes and extensions.
Google did not say when the new interface will be adopted by default, but some developers said that Google will "encourage" users to try the new Chrome Web Store in the next few weeks.
