Windows 10 Pro

Problem Description:

The green shield client file encryption does not display the lock icon, and the encryption function is normal

solution:

1. Check whether the console has hidden icons (unresolved)

Console-Rule Center-Security Options-Whether "Display encrypted icon for encrypted files" and "Do not display Explorer right-click menu" are ticked

If unchecked, the encryption icon will not be displayed

2. Check whether the terminal uses other desktop wallpaper tools such as 360 Desktop, Q+ Desktop, Sogou Desktop, and desktop organization tools. There is a phenomenon that when using these tools, the encryption icon and encryption menu cannot be displayed in this desktop, but the encryption icon and encryption menu can be viewed on the desktop of the local system. The encryption icon uses the interface provided by Microsoft, and these tools do not provide such an interface (there is no related software, unresolved)

3. Re-register the encryption lock icon and right-click menu components (to solve this case)

Run the cmd command as an administrator, enter the following two commands respectively, and re-register the component. If the registration is successful, a dialog box will pop up indicating that it has been successful, and then right click on the data on the client side to refresh it.

regsvr32 C:\InetPub\ftproot\Tipray\LdTerm\ldexplorericon.dll
regsvr32 C:\InetPub\ftproot\Tipray\LdTerm\LdMenuExt.dll

4. In another recent case, the third step did not work, and the following method was used

Run, enter regedit, and enter this location in the registry, as shown below. Add a few spaces in front of the green shield icon .LdIconEx in the registry, and then the priority will increase. At this time, just restart the explorer process, and the dongle will display normally.
